Security Gate Disaster!0

Today our security gate broke off at the hinges, which were totally rusted. The gate has now been removed and we are waiting for new hinges so that it can be fixed as soon as possible.

Assembly0

The children listened to the story of the tortoise and the hare. They were asked to think which animal they were most like; the tortoise who keeps working steadily or the hare who works in fast bursts but who has to watch time doesn’t run out when trying to complete a task. The children learned that there is more than one way to approach a task and that we are all different but can all ‘win the race’ in our own way.

Nursery children have a Burns’ Supper!0

On Thursday the children in the nursery had a Burns’ Supper and tucked into haggis, neaps and tatties! This meal was quite difficult to cook as there were several power cuts during the morning.
